Boston...

So Jord leaves in a month to go to Boston for a 2 month internship while I stay here to teach. Ugh. That's all I have to say. We're excited about Boston though, and I'll get to go out for two weeks. Here are the pics from when we went to visit Quinn and Claire in Boston a while back- it is such a cool city! (P.S. They are expecting a baby boy in October... so exciting!)

Last Few Months

So I should have known starting another blog that I still wouldn't be good at updating regularly but one can hope. The past few months have been the best of my life. Marriage is SO much fun. So in a nutshell, here it is:

December- went to Kentucky and had another reception- saw Jord's house for the first time, had an amazing Christmas, hung out with his family a lot and got to see my parents and sister as well.

January- way fun new years, still in Kentucky, came back and got back into the groove of school and work... and my dad came and stayed with us for a weekend! We played a lot of games and ate a lot of good food. It was a blast.

February- I've been off track (because I teach at a year round school we get long breaks through out the year instead of a summer) and have been LOVING LIFE. I went skiing for the first time (thanks to PWC) and it was frustrating but a lot of fun. We had the perfect Valentines Day- got to hang out all day which was an unusual treat!
Oh, and I gave my first hair cut yesterday! Jord thinks it's the first of many to come but I'm pretty sure I messed it up so we'll see about that..... AND- we're going to Boston next week to stay with Quinn and Claire so there should be a post on that soon. We are SO excited.

Winter Festivities

The last couple weekends have been filled with the classic winter dates of making gingerbread houses and going to see the Christmas lights at temple square.

We got a bunch of our friends together to make gingerbread houses and had quite the turn out. It was a lot of fun.

Did the lights with Billy and Esther (newly engageds!) and Julie and Kurt. Oh, and Greg as a seventh wheel. (Jord's 2 bro's, his sister and their attachments) It was cold but gorgeous as usual.

It's Official!

I am now married to Jordan Hymas and we can now start a blog together. Yay! We were married a week and a half ago in the Mesa temple and everything went as planned! We are back from our Honeymoon and settled in our little apartment. Jordan is back in school preparing for finals and I go back to teaching fifth grade again next week... Oh joy. Life is good! Here are a few wedding pic previews from Jessica's blog and I will post more once we get them all. She did an amazing job.
