At last....

Jordan's back.. Thank goodness!

We had a lot of fun with Quinn and Claire while we were there, then I came back and started a new school year with a new class. After three weeks of teaching, I went off track and Jordan FINALLY came home! The weekend after he got back we drove to Oregon to visit both of my grandparents. We stayed two nights with my mom's parents and then two nights with my dad's side. It was such a fun weekend.

Now Jordan's back to work and next week he starts back to school. Until then we're enjoying having a little more time together than we usually have. We've played tennis everyday this week which has been fun. Okay I should say we've practiced. We haven't played an actual game yet because I'm soooo bad. I'm getting better though. Ha. I'm loving being off-track.

Here are a bunch of random pictures that happened since the last time I posted.

Happy 4th from Boston!

I've been in Boston for about a week now, and it has been so much fun. Mostly, it's been nice being with Jordan. I've had to get creative about what to do during the day while Jord and Quinn have been at work, but Claire gets back in town tonight from Montana, so I'll be able to hang out with her next week during the day. Me and Jord have been seeing the sights and having a lot of fun when he's been off work and he's liking his internship so far.

Birthday and End of the School Year

Two days before Jordan left for Boston we got to celebrate my 23rd birthday. Jordan spoiled me and I was so glad he was able to be there. Then he took off to Boston and I finished the school year off. It's crazy to think I've taught for a whole year and I'm about to do the whole thing over again in a couple weeks!

Cheesecake Factory for my birthday dinner:)
Jordan made me my favorite cake- Funfetti! Haha
We finished this 1500 piece puzzle on my birthday! Last day of school:(

I'm gonna miss them....

I love my little fifth graders. I have the best class ever and with two weeks of the school year left I'm starting to get sad... Here's us at field day.

Memorial Day Weekend

A little late, but..... for Memorial Day weekend we went to Lava Hot Springs to go camping with Callie and Kyle, Chris and Scarlett, and their cute little Grayson. Then we went back to Rexburg with them and stayed the rest of the weekend at Cal and Kyle's. It was so much fun and so good to see them.

Finally!

Finally it seems to be warming up and it sort of feels like summer at least! Unfortunately, it's getting closer to Jordan leaving and spending summer apart is not exciting. He leaves in two weeks. Luckily my mom is coming to stay with me for a week while he's gone.
Here are a few highlights from the past couple months...

I graduated... and the best part is I have a job! I'll be teaching fifth grade again at my same school next year. I'm excited.

Billy and Esther got married the same weekend as graduation! We're so happy for them, but miss them because they moved to Kentucky.

And Easter was that same weekend, so it worked out because our families were in town.

Last month, we went to glow in the dark mini golf with Bill and Annie (Claire's sister and Jordan's friend from freshman year who, by the way, just got married this weekend! Woo-hoo!)
And, lastly, we just recently moved to draper and we love our new apartment. The commute is A MILLION TIMES BETTER! I only have to drive a half hour to my school instead of an hour, and Jordan has to drive about a half hour to BYU. The location is perfect.

Boston...

So Jord leaves in a month to go to Boston for a 2 month internship while I stay here to teach. Ugh. That's all I have to say. We're excited about Boston though, and I'll get to go out for two weeks. Here are the pics from when we went to visit Quinn and Claire in Boston a while back- it is such a cool city! (P.S. They are expecting a baby boy in October... so exciting!)

Last Few Months

So I should have known starting another blog that I still wouldn't be good at updating regularly but one can hope. The past few months have been the best of my life. Marriage is SO much fun. So in a nutshell, here it is:

December- went to Kentucky and had another reception- saw Jord's house for the first time, had an amazing Christmas, hung out with his family a lot and got to see my parents and sister as well.

January- way fun new years, still in Kentucky, came back and got back into the groove of school and work... and my dad came and stayed with us for a weekend! We played a lot of games and ate a lot of good food. It was a blast.

February- I've been off track (because I teach at a year round school we get long breaks through out the year instead of a summer) and have been LOVING LIFE. I went skiing for the first time (thanks to PWC) and it was frustrating but a lot of fun. We had the perfect Valentines Day- got to hang out all day which was an unusual treat!
Oh, and I gave my first hair cut yesterday! Jord thinks it's the first of many to come but I'm pretty sure I messed it up so we'll see about that..... AND- we're going to Boston next week to stay with Quinn and Claire so there should be a post on that soon. We are SO excited.
